Celebrating Success and Support: A Maryland Moment with Robert Kim

Robert Kim Mens Soccer

McNamee Hosea’s own Robert Kim was recently featured in the University of Maryland Athletics article, Why I Care: Maryland Athletics Celebrates Its 50th Big Ten Championship.

In the feature, Robert reflects on his experience as a member of the Maryland Men’s Soccer Team (1975–1978)—a time when the program was still developing and a crowd of 1,000 fans was considered a strong turnout. He shares how the arrival of longtime coach Sasho Cirovski in 1993 transformed the program into a powerhouse, sparking a new era of competition and community.

Robert’s involvement grew through the Starting XI booster group, international travel with the team, and continued support of the program. He credits the players and staff for inspiring his ongoing dedication:

“The student-athletes who play for Sasho truly are remarkable young men.”

Robert’s story exemplifies the power of alumni engagement and giving back. His reflection on Maryland Athletics’ 50th Big Ten Championship milestone highlights the same qualities that guide our firm every day—commitment, teamwork, and lasting impact.

We are honored to celebrate this achievement with Robert and the entire University of Maryland Athletics community.

Congratulations, Robert, and Go Terps!
