McNamee Hosea Teal Appeal Returns to Participate in 5th Annual NOCC Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer 5K Run/3K Walk

On September 21st, the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition’s (NOCC) is holding its 5th Annual “Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer” 5K Run/3K Walk at the Westfield Annapolis Mall. McNamee, Hosea, Jernigan, Kim, Greenan & Lynch, P.A., are once again honored and excited to be participating in this amazing event for the third year in a row!

In our second year participating, the Teal Appeal Team was comprised of over 40 members who participated in the walk or race, along with an outpouring of contributions made by employees that were unable to participate. We would also like to thank our sponsors, DARCARS, Old Line Bank, Watkins Meegan, LLC, South River Restoration, and the Prince George’s County Child Resource Center who supported the team for this wonderful event and cause. The Teal Appeal team was able to raise $7,385.00 with the help of McNamee Hosea who matched all of their employees’ contributions. The event was a huge success and “McNamee Hosea Teal Appeal” ranked 2nd out of over 100 teams for contributions made to the NOCC.

This year, we are hoping to raise $8,000.00 for this amazing organization and cause! The “McNamee Hosea Teal Appeal” team is open to anyone who would like to participate and help to spread the word about ovarian cancer. The firm will once again match contributions for all employees who donate to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition’s “Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer” Fundraising initiative.
